1) So what are individual eyelash extensions?
Per natural individual eyelash we glue on one individual eyelash extension. This will help enhance your natural lashes with colour, length, thickness and curl.
2) What’s the difference between ‘lash extensions’ and ‘cluster lashes’?
Lash extensions are individual synthetic strands, curled like natural lashes in 2 different thickness. Cluster lashes are made up of 3-4 strands fanning out from a bulb glued on to your natural lashes.
3) How long will my extensions last?
With proper care, your extensions will last 4-6 weeks. You should expect to shed most of them throughout the growth cycle of your natural lashes.
4) What does having infills involve?
Infills are like touch-ups for your extensions. Performed regularly, they’ll keep your lashes looking full and luscious. You may need them more or less often depending on how well you look after your extensions, your natural lash cycle, and the style of your initial set.
Typically, clients get infills every 2-3 weeks, however some clients prefer to replace their full set every 4-6 weeks.
5) How do I get full wear out of my lashes?
Lash extensions are incredibly delicate so they’ll need lots of care, exposure to steam or extremely hot water, and touching, picking, or rubbing your lashes can weaken the adhesive bond on your extensions. Avoiding these will ensure getting the full wear out of your extensions.
6) Can I wear mascara?
As long as it isn’t an oil based mascara and you are removing with a non oil based eye make up remover you can. However you should find you won’t need it.
7) How long does it take?
Anytime between, 1 and a half hours to 2 hours as we like to perfect our lashes.
8) Do I need a patch test?
Yes, although the glue doesn’t touch the skin we like to do a test for precaution.
9) Do eyelash extension ruin your natural lashes?
If applied and maintained correctly then they should not ruin your lashes, be sure not to pull or tug on the lashes and to follow aftercare advice.
10) Can I swim, shower and come into contact with water?
Yes, our glue has waterproof agents. However, being in constant contact with water may shorten the life. We also recommend not to get them wet for 24 hours.
